Joe DeVito is an acclaimed artist, sculptor, and storyteller best known for his work with pop culture, classic pulp characters, most notably for reimagining and expanding the mythology of King Kong and Skull Island. Founder of DeVito ArtWorks, LLC, Joe has created worlds that span books, comics, games, and screen adaptations—including projects with DC, Marvel, Disney+, Raw Thrills VR gaming, and The Sandbox metaverse.
Over the decades, Joe has painted and sculpted many of the world’s most celebrated icons, including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, the Hulk, Tarzan, Doc Savage, the Shadow, even MAD Magazine’s Alfred E. Neuman. His art has appeared on hundreds of book and magazine covers, collectible posters, trading cards, toys and in concept design for film and television. Along the way he managed to write and co-write a few novels and stories as well. He says it’s been a wild ride so far!
